Candidates who are successful in our recruitment process take the proper time to complete each step of the process thoroughly and are true to themselves at each point. For our candidates and our company, it is in the best interest of both groups to identify if there is a true alignment between the individual and our company before we make a hiring decision. This usually leads to employees who enjoy their position at PMSi and are able to grow within our company for a long time.

Will I have the chance to meet the hiring manager or team during the recruitment process?

In most cases, you will have the opportunity to meet our hiring manager(s) through our recruitment process. Most times this will happen through an in-person interview unless we have to conduct it virtually.

We want our interview process to expose you to all the right people to determine if you are good fit for the position and company as well as a chance for you to ask questions and determine if this is the company you want to work for.

Our recruiting team receives hundreds of applications for each position, and we complete a thorough hiring process that typically includes multiple collaborative interviews. Timing varies based upon which positions are open for the locations and positions that you selected as your preferences during the application. The HR Manager will contact you with next steps.

What are your working hours?
The normal work schedule for all employees is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday through Friday). Staffing needs and operational demands may necessitate variations in starting and ending times, as well as variations in the total hours that may be scheduled each day and week.

Describe the PMSi performance review process

Performance reviews are held annually, focusing on the past year’s accomplishments along with goals and development plans for the future.

The Performance Management Program consists of five major components:

  • Defining Performance Standards
  • Setting Goals and Metrics
  • Annual Performance Evaluation
  • Areas for Improvement
Describe the typical work week and the amount of expected travel
Most team members in technical and professional positions work about 40 hours per week. Manufacturing jobs often include overtime when business volume is high. Travel depends on the particular job and work at hand. Positions that might require travel include sales, marketing, engineering, and field service.
